How we use the information you choose to share with Raíces del Canal.
Inquiries and volunteering
When you send an inquiry, we collect your name, contact email, selected role and interests, preferred language, and optional message so Maite and Yavar can respond. Inquiry details are saved privately on Cloudflare and emailed to maited@raicesdelcanal.org and yavara@raicesdelcanal.org through Sequenzy. Sending an inquiry does not add you to our newsletter.
Please do not include birth dates, school schedules, health information, or other sensitive details. Families can use a parent or guardian’s contact email.
Email newsletter
When you request our newsletter, we save your email address, language preference, and consent request and send a confirmation link through Sequenzy. We add you to the Website newsletter list only after you confirm. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter.
Service providers and storage
Cloudflare hosts this website and its private form records. Sequenzy processes newsletter subscriptions and email delivery. Inquiry records and pending newsletter requests are routinely cleared from the website database after 90 days. Copies in our team’s email accounts may be kept as needed to respond and manage our programs. Confirmed subscriber records remain in Sequenzy until removed or handled according to your subscription preferences.
To limit spam, the website temporarily stores request counts associated with protected hashes of email and network addresses. Raw network addresses are not saved in the form database. Inquiry and confirmation emails sent by the website have open and click tracking disabled.

Photos and external services
Community photos supplied by Raíces del Canal are delivered through Sanity. Embedded videos use Vimeo. When you follow links to social networks, WhatsApp, or other services, their own privacy practices apply.
Giving
This website does not collect payment card information. Any donations must be completed through the organization’s selected payment provider.
